In 1979 and 1986 I had the opportunity to visit the SS United States and explore every nook and cranny. All of her original fittings were still in-place in 1979...as if she went out of service the week before. She was hermetically (sp) sealed so was preserved and in excellent condition. Enjoy these photos as many are from very interesting perspectives.
