One of my favorite ships to visit was the SS Norway. I first visited the ship in the early eighties when she first came out, and then made numerous visits to Miami to see the ship. I finally got to cruise on the SS Norway as a passenger in 1990. When I use to work on the cruise ships and would be in St Thomas at the same time Norway was there, I would often go over on her tender and visit the ship. I always enjoyed exploring the Norway a true-blue ocean liner converted to the lazy Caribbean duty. I hope you enjoy these photos as they bring back memories from those days when she was relatively new in the Caribbean.
